2021.12.01 20:51 indognito396 Week 16 and mixed results.
Currently on 75mg (10wks) that i take morning. My anxiety has reduced by about 70% and my depression by about 25%. Aside from the depression, the only thing that really bothers me is feeling tired and fatigued all the time. I could sleep an entire day if i wanted to. Is this something that could still wear off or am i pretty much stuck with it at this point?

2021.12.01 20:51 RepresentativeOld831 What alignment would you give this character?
So, I'm currently playing a homebrew campaign with my friends, and the main villain is a rather peculiar character.
He's a genuinely nice and extremely benevolent person. He is kind to those around him, even those standing in the way of his goals, and he never gets angry or otherwise shows agression or malevolence, escept to those that are genuinely malevolent for the sake of being malevolent. For the longest time, we PCs considered him a friend and mentor, we still kinda do, despite everything that happened.
...He's also a godlike, nigh-omniscient being, although that wasn't always the case.
In his childhood, he was a poor boy and lived in one of the more unsavory parts of the slums. But even when he was poor and had no food, he still protected those weaker than him and shared his food with them, often being beat up for it, and sometimes nearly dying.
Over the course of his entire life, he has seen innocent people die and suffer for pointless reasons, children and adults, women and men. He has seen nations rise and fall and rulers warring for no other purpose than greed. The harsh reality he lived in, forced him to reject the gods, who did absolutely nothing to help the mortals. On the contrary, often, they were precisely the cause for their deaths and their suffering. So he swore to one day overthrow them, as in his view, they were nothing more than powerful parasites, feeding off of innocent lives (which is kind of true in this campaign).
When he was a bit older, a demonic invasion threatened all of humanity, and he went around saving as many people as he could, eventually destroying it's source, only to learn that humanity caused it all in the first place, out of greed and lust for power. He was an inch away from death because of his intense fight, and so he had to heal for several hundreds of years, in which he could do nothing but just watch humanity.
Soon after the demonic invasion ended, humans began warring again, continuing the cycle of hatred and sacrificing innocent lives for meaningless reasons. After watching cruelty after cruelty, he decided that he needed to do something in order to stop this endless cycle of needless suffering, lest humanity would soon eradicate itself completely. But nothing he could come up with would end the cycle completely. Forcing them all to submit to him would entail countless sacrifices, as well as a lot of suffering and would require him to rule them through fear with an absolute iron fist. On top of that, he was not completely omniscient, nor omni-present, so crimes and bloody conflict would still happen.
So he dug deeper and thought about the source of the problem he was trying to combat. After thinking of his past experiences and observing humanity for some time, he came to a conclusion. He concluded that the source of all evil is egotism. More precisely, the bias a person has against others, and the delusion that ones own life and needs are of higher priority than those of others. So in order to eliminate evil, he had to eliminate all bias within the human heart.
His wounds would still not heal in a long, long time, but until then, humanity might already have eradicated itself (which is also probably true, yes, our campaign is very grimdark in case you haven't noticed yet). Given the tools at his disposal he had to make the best of his situation before it was too late, so he does the following:
He uses us to do his dirty work for him (because he can't do it himself at this point) and overthrow the current government, which, while very evil, was indirectly and unknowingly "protecting" humanity from being invaded by his legion. So after the corrupt government is no more, he plans to invade humanity, and assimilating all of them into a sort of hive mind, granting them immortal bodies and a way to end their egotism. Now, to clarify, it won't make zombies or slaves and eradicate their ego, but rather it would connect them to eachother both mentally and emotionally, in order to eradicate the bias within them. Note that he does not plan to kill anyone, or cause any unecessary suffering.
He sees this as humanity's next evolutionary stage, and the pathway to create a paradise on earth. We PCs disagree, of course, because he's doing it against people's will. His answer is that he's for their own good. Of course, we disagree again, because that seems kind of insane. But the thing is, those who have been connected, are all in agreement that their lives are much better than before, and that they're much happier this way. Furthermore once all is said and done, he plans to forever provide energy for humanity, at the cost of him suffering immense physical and mental pain for all eternity, so they can stay immortal, don't need to starve, and are immune against all sicknesses, etc., effectively creating a heaven on earth. Looking at it from an objective standpoint, his plan seems to actually be working.
So, if you've arrived at this point, thank you for reading,
Now, what alignment would you give this character? Because I'm a little conflicted, my friends say he'd fall into the neutral spectrum, but I disagree, I still think he falls into the evil spectrum.

2021.12.01 20:51 MushLoveSD Repitching lighter wort on to a stouty yeast cake, any foreseeable problems?
I made an oatmeal stout that I am currently fermenting with s-04 yeast. It is chugging away vigorously. I am going to transfer this to a keg and condition it for a little bit before tapping.
So, on to the yeast cake left in my Fermzilla after I transfer the stout, can I transfer a lighter wort like an IPA, wheat or an amber? I am not worried about how the beer might look but I want to know if it affects flavor all that much if I manage to get most of the beer out of the fermenter.
My fall back is a black IPA recipe but I’d like to know if someone has already tried this and has some input. Thanks a lot.
